Eligibility Criteria :
- Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Station Officer must possess degree in B.Sc. (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from recognized Board/Institution. However, additional weight-age during the interview will be given to the candidates having knowledge of swimming and diving.
- For the post of Sub – Officer candidates need to have H.Sc. (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from recognized Board/Institution. However, additional weight-age during the interview will be given to the candidates having knowledge of swimming and diving.
- For the post of Fireman and Emergency Rescuer candidates need to have H.Sc. (Science) pass or equivalent examination from recognized Board/Institution. However, additional weight-age during the interview will be given to the candidates having knowledge of swimming and diving.
- Age Limit :Candidate age must between 20 to 24 years for the post of Station Officer and Sub- Officer. 18 to 25 years for the post of Fireman and Emergency Rescuer as on 01-01-2012.
- Age Relaxation: 3 years for SC/ST candidates.
