Eligibility Criteria :                                                                                                              

• Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) must possess degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.For all other posts candidates are requested to refer to the original notification for detailed post wise educational qualification.
• Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 30 years for the post of Sub-Inspector and age must be between 18 to 25 years  for the post of Head Constable (Electrician) and Head Constable (Workshop) as on 31-08-2012.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 05 years in case the candidate is already in Government service and 5 years for persons killed in 1984 riots.The upper age limit is also relaxable by 05 years for candidates domiciled in the state of J& K.
