- Educational Qualification : Candidate applying for the post of Block Informatics Officer of Panchayat Samiti (B.I.O) must possess BCA/BSc. in Computer Science or Graduation in any discipline with A level Certificate Course of DOEACC or 3 years diploma in Computer Sicence & Engineering/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication and B or C level Certificate course from DOEACC.

- Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2012.
- Age Relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
