- Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Officer and Office Assistant need to have degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Age Limit : Candidates age must be above 18 and below 28 years for the post of Officer.Age must be between 18 to 28 yeas for the post of Office Assistant.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PWD candidates, 5 years for Persons affected by 1984 riots, 5 years for Persons domiciled in J&K, 9 years for Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried and applying for the post of Officer Assistant.
- 5 years In the case of Ex- servicemen commissioned officers, including ECOs/ SSCOs, who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment.
