Airports Authority of India invites applications for recruitment of Junior Assistants, Assistant and Senior Assistants. Airport Authority is going to fill up 250 posts through this job notification.
To take up the challenges, AAI is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience according to the advertisement published in its official website. Candidates with the citizenship of India can apply and that too latest by 15th May 2012. Mode of application is offline only. The following posts are for various ports in the states of Southern Region. Candidates with the domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry or Lakshadweep Island is required.
250 posts are for Junior Assistant ( Fire Service )-NE-4, 15 are for Assistant ( Office )-NE-5, 7 are for Senior Assistant ( Statistics, OL-Hindi, Nursing )-NE-6.
Pay scale: Candidates selected for the post of Junior Assistant will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.12500-28500/- while Assistant will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.13400-30500/- and Rs.14500-33500/- is for the post of Senior Assistants.
Age limit: Maximum 35 years of age is required for the post of Senior Assistant Nursing and candidates applying for any of the other posts should not be more than 30 years of age.
Qualification: 10th class pass with minimum 3 years of regular diploma in mechanical/ automobile/ fire along with a valid heavy vehicle driving license is essential for the post of Junior Assistant. While, candidates applying for the post of Assistant should posses degree along with typing speed of 40 wpm and 2 years of relevant experience. Post graduation with minimum 2 years of experience is required for the post of Senior Assistant- Statistics and OL Hindi. Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery is necessary for Senior Assistant Nursing.
Selection will be through written test/ physical measurement test/ driving test and interview. Examinations will be at the centres of Trichy, Vijayawada, Calicut and Mysore.
