- Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor under the disciplines Applied Mechanics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and various others should have PhD in Engineering/ Technology with First class at Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) in relevant branch and First class at Masters degree in relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology.
- For the post of Asst. Professor (Contract Basis) M.E./ M.Tech. with First class in (Civil, App. Mech., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Computer) appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology and First class at Bachelor’s degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in (Civil, App. Mech., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Computer) appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
- Age Limit :The upper age should be below 35 years for the Asst. Professor post and 30 years for the Asst. Professor (Contractual Basis) post as on 01-07-2012
- Age Relaxation:The Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is available as per Central Government rules.
